The Natural History Museum is divided in two sections:

The first section includes the Permanent exhibitions: Historical Gallery, Museum Garden, Amphibians and reptiles, Mammals, Archaeocetes, Cetaceans, Human evolution, Minerals, “The Earth: myths and science” (Temporary closed), Geological eras, Dinosaurs, Evolution of Birds.

The second section includes the Aquarium and the Temporary exhibition, when present. With this ticket it’s included the room on the Prehistory of Monte Pisano.


Dear visitors, due to the difficult situation, we thought of a single ticket at a reduced rate that allows you to visit the permanent exhibitions and the Aquarium. This rates will be valid from 24th july until 31st september 2020.
We remember you that during this period the entrace to the museum is possible only by online reservation:

Full ticket:  € 8.00
Reduced ticket (6-18 years and over 65): € 4.00
(1 adult + 1 child):€ 8.00
Agreements with organisations* (Socio Coop, ICOM, EduMusei, CTT Nord, Caravanbacci, Forze Armate): € 7.00

Free for children under 6 years, students and employees of the University of Pisa, students with the card “Studente della Toscana”, group guides, disabled people and their assistant, Calci’s inhabitants, Tourist guides, Nature & Walking Guides (with a badge).


* With a valid card/pass. “Groups” discount only on booking, for a minimum of 15 people.

Pets: due to the type of exhibits and to the numerous children who might be frightened, it is possible to bring pets inside the Museum as long as they are kept in their arms or in a special container.
